What data we collect and why

When you visit our website
When you visit www.emory.pro, our hosting provider automatically collects standard server log data, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and date and time of access. This data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating and securing a functional website. Log data is retained for 7 days and is not used to identify individual visitors.

When you contact us
When you contact us by email or through a contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message. This data is processed on the basis of your consent or our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(a) or (f) GDPR). We retain correspondence for up to 3 years unless a longer retention period is required by law.

When you register for or use Emory Pro
When you create an account or use the Emory Pro application, we process the personal data necessary to provide the service, including your name, email address, company name, role, and activity within the platform. This processing is based on the performance of a contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Our full data processing practices for the Emory Pro platform are described in your organisation's Data Processing Agreement with SALICO GmbH.

We use strictly necessary cookies only. These are required for the website to function correctly and cannot be disabled. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. No cookie consent is required for strictly necessary cookies under GDPR.

Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We share personal data only with:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement, including our hosting provider. All subprocessors are contractually bound to process data only as instructed.

  • Public authorities, where required by applicable law.

Where any subprocessor is located outside the EU/EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Data storage and retention

All primary data for the Emory Pro platform is stored on AWS servers located in Frankfurt, Germany (eu-central-1). Website data is processed within the EU/EEA. We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. German commercial law requires retention of certain business records for up to 10 years.
