Emory Pro Selected for the German Accelerator LatAm Market Discovery Cohort 2026

We’re excited to share some good news.

A few days ago we received confirmation that Emory Pro has been selected for the German Accelerator LatAm Market Discovery Cohort 2026. Naturally, the team is excited about the opportunity.

Programs like this don’t come around often. And for a startup that’s still learning every day, the chance to spend time inside a completely different startup ecosystem is something we didn’t want to miss.

Over the coming weeks our team will be heading to Brazil and taking part in the program alongside other founders and teams who are exploring the Latin American market.

More than anything, we’re looking forward to the conversations.

Getting Closer to the Brazilian Startup Ecosystem

Brazil has built a surprisingly strong startup ecosystem over the past few years. If you speak with founders who have spent time there, you’ll hear the same thing again and again — the community is active, collaborative, and very open to new ideas.

Cities like Porto Alegre and São Paulo have become important hubs where founders, investors, and innovation teams regularly interact. Not just at conferences, but through shared workspaces, accelerators, and local communities.

That kind of environment makes a difference.

You learn quickly when you’re around people building things every day.

Reading market reports helps, sure. But sitting down with founders and hearing how they actually run their companies — that’s where the real insight usually comes from.

A Chance to Meet Like-Minded Builders

One of the things we appreciate about programs like the German Accelerator is the people they bring together.

You might meet someone building a fintech startup in São Paulo, another founder working on logistics technology, and someone else solving problems in manufacturing. Completely different industries, yet surprisingly similar operational challenges.

Those moments are interesting.

Because sometimes you realize the problems you’re solving are not unique to one market or one sector. They show up everywhere — just in slightly different forms.

That’s exactly the kind of learning we hope to get from this experience.

Looking Forward to South Summit

Another part of the program that we’re genuinely looking forward to is South Summit Brazil.

If you’ve ever attended a large startup gathering, you know how unpredictable they can be. You go in expecting talks and panels, but the real value usually comes from the random conversations in hallways or coffee lines.

Someone mentions a problem they’re dealing with. Another person has seen something similar somewhere else.

And suddenly a useful discussion starts.

Those small interactions are often more valuable than the scheduled sessions.

Why This Matters for What We’re Building

At Emory Pro, we spend most of our time thinking about something pretty specific: how organizations manage inspections, documentation, and operational compliance.

In many industries those processes are still messy. Paper checklists, scattered spreadsheets, disconnected tools — it happens more often than people think.

When teams operate across multiple sites or locations, those gaps become even harder to manage.

That’s the problem we’re trying to simplify.

Being able to talk with companies in different regions helps us understand how these workflows actually look in practice. Sometimes the challenges are exactly the same. Other times they’re completely different.

Both perspectives are useful.

What We’re Hoping to Take Away

Our primary focus during the program is simple: listening and learning — meeting founders, speaking with operators, and understanding how teams in different regions approach operational challenges.

For us, this is also an opportunity to explore Brazil as a potential market and better understand how inspection and compliance workflows operate across industries in Latin America.

If we return with a few new ideas, some meaningful connections, and a clearer understanding of the region, the entire experience will have been well worth it.

Let’s Connect

We’re looking forward to building meaningful connections and learning from the vibrant Brazilian startup ecosystem.

If you happen to be attending South Summit Brazil or working in the Brazilian startup community, feel free to reach out. We’d be happy to meet and exchange ideas.
